Signal & Stud is published by Trim My Crib, a design-build company in Venice, FL whose work includes media walls. It links to Trim My Crib’s own pages, and it is not an independent review site.

Every number names a manufacturer document, a code section or a public research body, linked under each sheet. When a figure cannot be verified, it is left out. Our own arithmetic is labeled as ours. Build descriptions are general industry practice, not any company’s method.

Which homes is this notebook written for?

The material notes assume a house somewhere between Osprey and Venice: Venice, Wellen Park, Nokomis, Osprey or south Sarasota, where humid air and salt exposure are part of every material choice. Trim My Crib covers only parts of some of those towns. Before planning a build, ask whether your home is in our area.
